Charlotte Thornton was a Visiting Scholar at Stanford Civil & Environmental Engineering Global Projects Center (2010/11). Charlotte attended Stanford, Colorado School of Mines, and University of Texas. In 2009, she spent one year as a pro se filer to the ASARCO (mining) bankruptcy, mankind's largest environmental bankruptcy on record. This experience greatly influenced her viewpoints on environmental justice and where we are as a society on this test point.
